Tonymoly Cats Wink Smooth Primer Review
Tuesday, 30 April 2013 | 0 comments
Here's my first review of the huge Korean haul I recently got!  I got two primers to review, and this is the first out of the two.  It's the Tonymoly Cats Wink Smooth Primer.

This product smoothes (with the e) pores and uneven skin textures, making the skin appear younger and smoother.
When I first squeezed this product out of the tube, it came out like an orange-salmon colour, but when blended, it's invisible.  Once applied to the skin, the area becomes very smooth and soft.  There's no particular scent to it, so it's less likely to irritate the skin.  I have quite dry and sensitive skin and it hasn't given me much of a problem.  It does smooth out your skin for a well prepared canvas for your foundation or in my case, BB cream.

The packaging is really cute, as it is part of their Cat line.  I've noticed many different products from Tonymoly with cat themed packaging which I'm sure lures in the costumers hehe.  In one tube, you get 25ml of product which is a decent amount in my opinion.  If you are only using it for your nose area (where most people have larger pores anyway), then I think this will last you for a couple of months.  If it's for your whole face, you'll probably go through it rather quickly.  But like my eyeshadow primer, I only use a little at a time.

Here you can see the difference between with and without primer.  I used a tiny amount of my Skin79 Vital Orange BB cream as a tester for this primer.  You can see that without the primer, the lines on my skin are far for visible than the side with the primer.  Also, it seems like there's more coverage when the primer is being used because my veins are less noticeable.

Rating: ★★★☆☆  3/5

Overall, I think this primer does it's job, but it's not perfect.  When I use it, it doesn't make my face look completely poreless but it does help.  I'll continue to use this primer and see if my thoughts on it change over time.
