Etude House Etoinette Crystal Shine Lip Lipstick (PPK001 & PPK003)

Hello!

I've been slacking, I know...  But slowly,  I'm tackling each review off my list.  There's still a lot to go, so I guess that's good news for you all?  Today, I'm gonna be reviewing another product from Etude House's Etoinette collection.  I have two lipsticks, one of them was given to me by Charming^^

So this is how the packaging looks like.  It's really cute and Princess-y like everything else in this line.  I especially love the gold detailing in the front.  I've always found that Etude House's packaging is the best.  Everything is so cute!

This is PPK001.  It's the lightest shade in the line, I believe.  In the bullet, the colour looks like a medium pink, but when applied, it's actually like a baby pink.  On the lips, it looks very similar to Revlon's Lip Butter in Cotton Candy, but without as much blue tint to it.  This is a warmer baby pink.

This is PPK003.  It's a deeper pink, and the colour looks more true to the one you see in the bullet.  On the lips, I find this is similar to a "my lips but bettter" kind of colour.  It gives me a natural flush of pink on my lips that's pretty close to my natural lip colour.  Then again, my lips tend to have a more saturated pink tint to it compared to others.

The texture of these lipsticks is definitely really buttery, especially PPK001.  They're really moisturizing and gives a shiny finish on the lips.  I'd say no lipgloss is required because it's already really glossy on its own.  With that being said, they do tent to settle in the cracks of your lips, PPK001 more so than PPK003.  I find the lighter the colour, the more noticeable it is in the cracks.  I have trouble with my lips because they tent to get chapped and peel very very easily so it's hard for me to wear the lighter colour.  However, I really enjoying the deeper one as it's more workable on my lips.  There are little flex of glitter in the bullet, but it's hardly noticeable when applied on your lips.

As for staying power, I wouldn't say these last a really long time.  I don't really expect them to because of their texture.  Matte lipsticks tend to last longer than more shiny ones.  I think after about 2-3 hours, they'll wear off.  They definitely won't last through a meal.

Rating: ★★★☆☆  3/5

Overall, I think these lipsticks are cute and fun to wear but they aren't the most long lasting.  So if you already reapply throughout the day, I'm sure you'll go through a single lipstick really quickly.  Also, it's hard for me to make them look nice on my lips due to the settling in cracks.  But if you have perfectly smooth lips, maybe after exfoliation, it'll work perfectly for you.
