The Face Shop Face It Designing Cake Eyebrow (01 Khaki Grey) Review
Friday, 21 March 2014 | 0 comments
Helloooooo, cuties!

I'm really excited to bring you this review because this was a product I've had an eye on for a while, and finally brought myself to get.  It's The Face Shop's Face It Designing Cake Eyebrow.

I went through this phase (and still in it) where I became obsessed with perfecting my brows.  So, I went to the closest The Face Shop around me and picked up this, along with the eyebrow pencil I previously reviewed.  I think having perfect brows is the equivalent to wearing matching bra and undies, or having a good hair day.  Girls, you know what I'm talking about.  You feel like you have your shit together, don't you?  Well, as long as your brows are in check, your life will follow :D  (True life facts).

I picked up the khaki grey colour.  They have one other colour, which is the brown, but I'm not to fond of having my brows look brown since my hair isn't dyed or anything.  I mean, it's naturally a lighter brown, but I don't think pure brown brows are the thing for me.  Grey was the way to go.

It comes with two shades, a lighter and darker shade.  I tend to use the lighter colour the most, but I like using the darker shade on the end half of my brows for a more dramatic look when I want it.  It also comes with a mini angled brush and a spooly to brush out your brows with.  I use both of these!

I tried to swatch these on my hand, but it's hard to see, which is good because it allows you to fill in your brows subtly and build on the intensity if you wanted.  Don't let the lighter shade fool you.  It actually does show on your brows and does an excellent job filling in the sparse areas.

Rating: ★★★★☆  4/5

I didn't give this a perfect score because of the price.  Although this isn't the most pricy product out there, (I think I got it for $12, I believe) if you compare this to their eyebrow pencil, it's more than double the price!  The pencil is around $4-5.  I guess it depends on what kind of brow product you prefer.  I ended up getting both and I love both.
