The Face Shop Mango Seed Silk Moisturizing Toner and Lotion Review
Monday, 25 November 2013 | 0 comments
Hellooooo cutiesssss,

I'm back with a quick review on these sample sized The Face Shop Mango Seed Silk Moisturizing Toner and Lotion.  I got it as a sample when I bought my eyebrow pencil and powder.  I believe it was their newest line of skin care at the time, and they've only released one other line since then.  Don't quote me on that, I'm just assuming.  But I've had this for a while now, and I'm sure it's no longer considered new.

So yes, they are small sample sized, which means there's not a lot for me to use.  However, I surprisingly got a good 5-7 uses out of it, and I think I've got at least another 2 or 3 more left.

Let's talk about the toner first.  It's one of those that you have to shake up before using because it separates when it's been sitting for too long.  It's a more moisturizing toner, as I've told the sales lady that I had dry skin.  After applying, my face feels hydrated and doesn't have a sticky residue.

The lotion is a thicker consistency, but still runny enough, like a daily moisturizer compared to a night time lotion/cream.  Again, it feels really hydrating and leaves your face prepped for makeup application.  It doesn't leave your skin looking too dewy, so your foundation can go on easily and won't look oily.

The scent of this line is AMAZING!  I LOVE this scent to pieces.  It has a fruity floral scent that is hinted with mango.  Love, love, loveeee!

Rating: ★★★★★  5/5

This line is good for people with dry skin.  I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with oily skin because it might break you out and cause your skin to be even more oily.  Since I have extremely dry skin, especially in the winter time, I love these products.  I'm thinking of purchasing a regular sized version of the lotion, but not so much the toner simply because I rarely use toners anyway.  The lotion does remind me of an emulsion, in the sense that it's not as thick as some lotions I've tried.  Compared to my Ice Flower emulsion, also from The Face Shop, I would say this mango seed line is more moisturizing than the Ice Flower one.  I'm exited to get it!
