Happy Victoria Day to all the Canadians :)  There's currently fireworks outside my house and I can't tell the difference between a gun shot and fireworks exploding so...  That's not good.  Jk, that's only a problem if I were still living down in Scarborough lolololol~

It was really hot outside today, reached about 26°C but felt like 30°C.  Dying...  I woke up sweating and whatnot.  It was not pleasant at all.  Even through the heat, I managed to keep up my workout routine but almost died from heat overload.

Over the weekend, I got myself a yoga mat to keep myself motivated.  I was working out on my bedroom carpet which didn't sound like a good idea in my head, so I just got a cheap yoga mat.  The only semi-annoying thing about it is that it kind of slides on my carpet while I workout.  I guess it's better on wooden floors, but my house is 80% carpeted so...  GG.  I also got the June Cosmo and Forever21 sunglasses!

I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Charming :(  Today will be the 12th day since he's gone and it has been so hard not to miss him.  Boo...  He's gone for a month and a half or so, which is a very long time for a girl that's stuck at home doing the same boring routine.  (But I clearly have chocolates and a Cosmo to keep me occupied, right?)  We haven't been able to talk for the past couple of days because of the lack of internet connection over there.  I thought Asia was all about the technology and what not.  Shouldn't there be wifi in every corner???  I trust that he's doing well and having fun though.

Anyway, so I've been meaning to make crop tops for a very long time now, but of course have been procrastinating.  Well, last night I was thinking of what I could do to past the time and finally got my butt to do it!  Being the person that I am, I was a little hesitant to cut up my shirts because I'm that type of person that thinks, "well I know I don't wear this ever, but one day I might want to wear it.  What if I ruin it?!"  So picking out which shirts to cut was a challenge for me, which it shouldn't be!  Needless to say, I did manage to dig two shirts out that I was willing to cut.

The first one was already in a "cut crop top" type style.  I got this from my cousin, so I'm not sure if it was previously cut already but I wanted to make it shorter on my torso.  I decided on a high-low cut.

Make a curved slope-like cut for a more flattering cut.  Cutting it straight diagonally will look weird!

Here's the after.  (I had to censor it because my undies were showing through under this light for some reason >//////<)

Then, I found another shirt that I decided to just do a straight across cut.  It reminded me a little of SNSD's Hoot outfits in one of their performances.  Not a big fan of them, but the outfit was kinda cute.

Other than that, I've been doing nothing special.  I've been cooking for myself a bit more, so my Instagram is filled with food pictures, haha.  I'll stick some in just for fun :)

This post has been very picture heavy, huh?  I'll end it with one more :D
